Graduate Placement
Eswatini Youth Empowerment Programme received over 2 800 applications under the graduate placement programme. The programme matched and deployed 250 graduates between July and November 2023, in its first year of implementation.

Artisanal Training
By the end of 2023, EYEP trained 360 young people between the ages of 15 and 35 in the four regions of the country: Hhohho, Manzini, Shiselweni and Lubombo. EYEP partnered with the following municipal councils to implement the programme: Ezulwini Municipality, Mankayane Town Board, Nhlangano Town Council, and Siteki Town Council. The programme trained 90 artisans from each region – 50 per cent women – with a minimum qualification of a Primary Certificate or Grade 7. Ezulwini Municipality was the first to train and graduate artisans in sewing, upholstery, electrical installation, building and construction, plumbing, and metal work.
